Description

  • cutting board
  • medium-sized pot
  • immersion blender
  • sealable jars

 


Ingredients

  • 1 kilograms red apples
  • 100 milliliters water
  • juice of half a lemon
  • 50 grams white sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut them into large chunks.
  2. In a medium-sized pot, combine the apple pieces with water, lemon juice, and sugar. Cover and simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the pot from the heat and puree the mixture until smooth using an immersion blender.
  4. Transfer the applesauce into sterilized jars with screw tops or serve immediately.
