- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp cardamom seeds
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 2 bay leaves
ACTIVE: 3 min

- mortar & pestle
- airtight container
- Break open the cardamom pods in a mortar and separate out the black seeds. Remove the shells and leave the seeds in the mortar.

COOKING
1. Add half a stick of cinnamon, the coriander seeds, the cumin seeds, the peppercorns, the cloves and the bay leaves to the cardamom seeds and grind everything well until a powder is formed.
2. The powder can be used immediately or placed in an airtight container.
